Race For A Soldier expo is a two day event.

On Friday and Saturday - September 22rd and 23th at the Wesley Inn Best Western in Gig Harbor, WA off Kimball Dr:

  • On September 22rd the expo is open from 10AM to 3pm.
  • On September 23th the expo is open from 10AM to 3pm.

SHIFTS:
Morning group shift is from 10AM to 12:30PM, and afternoon shift is from 12:30PM to 3PM both Friday and Saturday.

Duties include:

  1. Assisting runners with registration and packet pick up.
  2. Packet pick up is when a runner comes to the expo to pick up their bib racing number and any other item given away at the expo. As a volunteer for Bib number pick up you are responsible to find and locate their bib race number on a sheet that's provided by the timer.

All pre-registered runners will be on a list and all you need to do is locate on the list and give them their number. Included in that is their race shirt, you will need to look up their name and see what they ordered.

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the shift, this will allow the captain to direct you to your location.

V-OPS members or Vendors that need to park at base camp at YMCA must have a Yellow Pass (check with captain)

T-shirt is an adult short sleeve, men's sizing. They are soft cotton spun blend (will slightly shrink after washing/drying). If you wear a women's medium then sign up for a men's small.
